Word of Faith

Welcome to our website. A group of Christians, along with my wife and I, started the Word of Faith Christian Fellowship in Cambridge. We are here to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, God's Son, the Saviour promised centuries ago.

We come from Poland, a country that has a very strong Catholic tradition, where Christmas and Easter are celebrated every year. These celebrations are linked with the Person of Jesus Christ. Still a large number of Poles do not realize that the birth of God's Son, His substitutionary death on the cross and His resurrection are crucial as far as their lives are concerned. There are also a large number of people living in Great Britain who also do not have the knowledge of these facts even though historic biblical facts are 100% true.

Jesus changed history. When we mention the year something happened we count years up to or from His birth. The Acts of the Apostles chapter 10 verse 43 says that "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." Jesus came to give His life for you and for me. The Gospel of Mark, chapter 10 verse 45, says "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

God is not the author of all the mess you can see in the world today. He created the first man (Adam) in His image and likeness. God gave him the right to rule Planet Earth - He gave him free will. Adam committed sin, and in doing that, he gave his authority to rule the earth to the devil (who had sinned long before Adam did). Since then the devil has had the right to stay on the Earth.

Soon after the fall of man God predicted the coming of the Messiah - Jesus, the Saviour of the world. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, He took a human body and became a man. He went about teaching, preaching and healing. Everyone coming to Him in faith experienced His provision, healing and deliverance. Jesus was full of compassion, mercy and love. He had the answer to every problem and He still does. He is the Saviour, the exact representation of God the Father, showing people God's Love. He said that the one who sees Him sees the Father. 1 Peter 2:24 says that He is the One "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed."
